If gaining more muscle and burning more fat is your goal, here are several tips you should check:
1. Know your daily nutrition needs.
Sometimes we don’t get the result we wanted is because we don’t give our body the chance to recover from all the hard work we put it through in the gym. You can use our macro calculator in the medofu mobile app to get your specific macro number.
2. More good habits.
The changes our body go through is not over-night. It is the accumulation of hard work, discipline, nutrition and good habit that we practice. Here are some of the habits that can improve your physique and health:
- Get enough sleep (6-8 hours a day).
- Wake up early.
- Drink a lot of water.
- Prioritize protein intake.
- Better carb timing.
- Get stronger. (increase your lifting strength)
3. Tackle the difficult obstacles first.
Find out what’s holding you back. Deal with the hardest ones first. If hitting your macros is hard, we recommend prepping them early on every week. If you are too busy with work and have no time to train, then wake up earlier in the morning (4am) and get it done before you go to work.
4. Track your progress.
Like most thing in life, we can only improve if we know our previous performance. Note down your training progress, how many calories/macros and see how you can up your game. I know it’s a pretty tedious process, but nothing worth having comes easy. Track everything and learn how to adjust.
